Bonnie Draper, Youth Director

She grew up being involved in church. As a young child learned the Bible stories and songs but it wasn’t till she was 13 years old when she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and baptized in the South River. She realized you can have the knowledge but you need to have the personal daily relationship with the Lord. As a teenager she knew God wanted her to be a nurse and after high school attended Fort Wayne Bible College and got her BS degree in Missionary Nursing. She worked in Haiti with OMS International and later did volunteer work in West Africa. After, returning to the states she worked in pediatric nursing for 18 years and presently does hospice nursing. She has been working with children and teenagers at Landover Hills Baptist Church since the early 80’s. She prays that God will use her to lead others to Christ. Guiding children and youth to see the importance of discipleship, evangelism, fun, leadership and service to their Lord and Savior.

Janice A. Harper - Administrative Ministry Assistant

As a child, Janice, was baptized and raised in church. Her parents, grandparents, and church family, taught her the importance of being selfless and compassionate to help others, for God's glory. A native Washingtonian, however; raised and attended schools in Prince Georges County, Maryland. In 1974, she moved to Greenville, South Carolina, re-located to Maryland in 1999 and re-dedicated her life to Christ. One of her desires as a Christian it to pick up the mantle and fulfill the "Great Commission", to be used more in reaching others for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for God's glory. (Matthew 28: 19 - 20)
